Researcher on Emerging Technology and Law
Ashita has completed her graduate studies focusing on international trade and investment law from the World Trade Institute, University of Bern, Switzerland. She is deeply interested in global economic governance, and finds the intersections of law and technological developments particularly fascinating. She is eager to contribute to the research pertaining to global digital trade rules and data regulations. In fact, one of her post-graduate theses was dedicated to discussing global governance of consumer protection in cross-border electronic commerce.
Ashita enjoys working in teams and spending time with people who are passionate about their work. She was an active participant in the mooting activities at Birmingham Law School, UK and the World Trade Institute. Apart from legal studies, she is a yoga enthusiast and loves to travel. She also dreams of diving at the best scuba-diving destinations in the world.
